We Were Born in 1973
All’s well that starts well
Can-Am’s story began in 1973 with our very first motorcycle, the MX. Just in time for the emerging motocross market, it paved the brand’s way forward and quickly gained a winning reputation.
Early success for the Can-Am Traxter
After an early focus on motocross racing, we made a bold new innovation with our Can-Am ATVs in 1997. They were instantly a hit, with the Traxter being named ATV of the year by ATV Magazine!

The next major breakthrough at Can-Am came in 2014 with the introduction of the Maverick 1000R. With a never-before-seen engine, this side-by-side has been dominating races to this day, but now as the Maverick X3.
Can-Am’s future is just as electric
We’re going back to our roots with two new electric motorcycles, the Pulse and Origin. This time, our eyes are set on the future and sparking thrills for a whole new generation, whether it’s in cities or on trails.
